My endless quest to force metalheads to listen to Harsh Noise Wall continues unabated as we welcome to the fold The Lethal Temple: A Woman's Glove, a side project started by several members of genre-defining legends Black Leather Jesus.

Fresh from the latter's collaboration with label boss Jacob's all time favorite band Xiu Xiu, The Lethal Temple: A Woman's Glove bring us the sort of noise music that fans of extreme metal can all get behind, the kind that will rip your flesh off and permanently damage your ears if the Bluetooth buds are up even remotely close to too high.

Crunchy like a killer's footsteps on newly fallen snow, sizzling like burning flesh, Shard will especially resonate with those of you who misspent a significant chunk of your childhood attempting and failing to watch 80s slasher movies on static destroyed UHF channels.

We've spoken before about how many of our HNW releases evoke bird songs or water falls. Well Shard sounds like someone bigger and stronger than you choking your life out for no discernable reason. It is brutal and it is horrifying and feels justifiably angry at the power people have over each other in the world and the pointlessly cruel ways they choose to employ it.
